RUBINA (INTRO) (Live) (From the 2001 Video LIVE FROM SAN FRANCISCO) Transcribed by James Rodriguez E-mail me for the full score in power tab: * This is a nice and easy piece. The pattern in which your fingers play the arpeggio, is repeated for the first 6 bars. You just need to change your root note and play the same pattern again. Dynamics: Accent the first note of each bar and the 2 notes at the peak of the arpeggio (in the first bar you accent 6(10) and 2(15) 1(17)). Build in volume as you scale up the arpeggio, then soften the volume as you scale down (crescendo/decrescendo respectively). You don't need the music to play this piece, all the notes are 16th's (semi-demi-quaver) Gtr I (E A D G B E) Moderately Q=80 bpm 4/4 Gtr I |----------------------------17-------------------| |----------------------17-15-------17-------------| |----------------14-14----------14-------14-------| |----------14-12----------------------12-------14-| |----12-12----------------------------------12----| |-10----------------------------------------------| Fingering 1 3 1 3 1 3 1 4 1 4 1 4 1 3 1 3 |---------------------12--------------| |---------------12-10------12---------| |-----------9-9----------9------9-----| |-------9-7-------------------7-----9-| |---7-7---------------------------7---| |-5-----------------------------------| |------------------------14-----------------|-------------------9-------------| |------------------14-12-------14-----------|---------------9-7-----9---------| |------------11-11----------11------11------|-----------6-6-------6-----6-----| |-------11-9----------------------9------11-|-------6-4---------------4-----6-| |---9-9--------------------------------9----|---4-4-----------------------4---| |-7-----------------------------------------|-2-------------------------------| |--------------------10--------------| |---------------10-8------10---------| |-----------7-7---------7------7-----| |-------7-5------------------5-----7-| |---5-5--------------------------5---| |-3----------------------------------| |----------------------------17-------------------| |----------------------17-15-------17-------------| |----------------14-14----------14-------14-------| |----------14-12----------------------12-------14-| |----12-12----------------------------------12----| |-10----------------------------------------------| 2/4 pause pause |-------------------------|---------------------| |----------------------19-|------------------14-| |----------------16-16----|------------11-11----| |----------17-14----------|-------12-9----------| |----14-14----------------|---9-9---------------| |-12----------------------|-7-------------------| 4/4 |---------------------------------| |---------------------------------| |-----------7---6---7---6---7---6-| |-------7-5---7---5---7---5---7---| |---5-5---------------------------| |-3-------------------------------| Fingering 1 3 1 3 1 4 3 2 1 4 3 2 1 4 3 2 |---------------------------------|------------------------------------------| |---------------------------------|--------------------------------------19--| |-----------7---6---7---6---7---6-|-----------7---6----------------16-16-----| |-------7-5---7---5---7---5---7---|-------7-5---7------------17-14-----------| |---5-5---------------------------|---5-5--------------14-14-----------------| |-3-------------------------------|-3---------------12-----------------------| ~~~~ \2.5 |----17-------------------------------|------------------*| |-15-------17-------------------------|------------------*| |-------14-------14----------11tr12---|-(11)----(11)-----*| |-------------12-------14-------------|------------------*| |-------------------12----------------|------------------*| |-------------------------10----------|-(10)-------------*| Duration Legend --------------- + - note tied to previous; . - note dotted; .. - note double dotted Uncapitalized letters represent notes that are staccato (1/2 duration) Irregular groupings are notated above the duration line Duration letters will always appear directly above the note/fret number it represents the duration for.
