There's some interesting guitar stuff on all the songs on this CD, no shredding, or incredible chops, but Mike Campbell & Danny Kortchmar definately have STYLE!! If you don't have this CD (Building The Perfect Beast), BUY IT!!! It's an awesome CD...All She Wants to Do is Dance, Sunset Grill, Drivin' With Your Eyes Closed, and of course this song are all AWESOME tunes!!! (I should be posting Drivin' With Your Eyes Closed soon)
Versión 2 - Boys Of Summer (Letra y acordes)
This is a great song and is fairly easy to play. Everything in the song is included in this tab. It is hard to perform because there is 4 guitars playing at one time and at one point there is even a fifth, but can easily be pulled off with two guitars with some improvising. Standard tuning. h= Hammer-on p= Pull off /= Slide Intro E---9-/11------------| A---11/13-11h13--13--| D---11/13------11----| G--------------------| B--------------------| e--------------------| Background-This is played off and on throughout the whole song. E------------| A------------| D--------11--| G---11-10----| B------------| e------------| Verse-This is all that is played during the verse, it is just repeated. E---11-7-9--7--| A---13-9-11-9--| D---13-9-11-9--| G--------------| B--------------| e--------------| Chorus-All the cords in the chorus, just repeat. E---9--9--7--| A---9--11-9--| D---11-11-9--| G---11-10-8--| B---9--9--7--| e------------| Verse-the second Verse and the third have a bit of palm muting in them. E---11-7-9--7--| A---13-9-11-9--| D---13-9-11-9--| G--------------| B--------------| e--------------| Verse Background Solo-If you listen closely there is a background solo played during the second Verse. E---9--9--7--| A---9--11-9--| D---11-11-9--| G---11-10-8--| B---9--9--7--| e------------| Bridge-This is everything included in the bridge, there are technically three guitars playing, but one of them is doubled over at one point counting as 4, but the fourth is VERY faint and not needed. In one part it plays the same solo during the second verse witch is above, and during the whole thing is played that same three notes at the top of this tab. Just listen to the song and figure out what to play and when ...it’s all here.
